SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2022
The SSC has begun accepting applications for the position of Rifleman (GD) in Central Para Military Forces (CAPFS), SSF, Assam Rifles and Sepoy in the Narcotics Control Bureau. A total of 24,369 posts are available. Applicants can check the details on the official website — ssc.nic.in.
The online application process started on October 27 and the deadline for submission of the application form is November 30, 2022. The computer-based examination is scheduled to be held next year in January 2023.

The examination will be one objective type paper containing 80 questions. Each question will be worth 2 marks. There will be four sections which are General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, English, Hindi.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Limit: 18-23 years as of January 1, 2023. Age relaxations apply for different reserved categories.
- Educational Qualifications: The candidates must have passed Matriculation or Class 10 Examination from a recognized Board/ University.
Application Fee:
The applicants are required to pay the application fee of Rs 100. Women candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ ex-servicemen categories are exempted from paying the application fee.

- Interested candidates will need to visit the official SSC website and look for the GD Constable notification.
- Once the notification is released, candidates will need to read it carefully and ensure that they meet all the eligibility criteria.
- After that, they will need to fill out the application form and submit it online, along with the required documents.
- Once the application process is complete, candidates will need to appear for a written exam.
- Those who clear the written exam will then be called for a physical efficiency test and a physical standards test.
- Finally, the candidates who clear all the tests will be appointed as GD constables.
