ICC T20 Cricket World Cup (2022): This Saturday, the stage is set for the most intense cricket battle of the year. 16 top cricket teams from all around the world will be competing against each other in what is sure to be an epic tournament. This year, for the first time in the history of the Cricket T20 World Cup, the captains of all 16 teams met in Melbourne for an event called Captain’s Day.
India and Pakistan will go into the Asia Cup 2022 looking to break the deadlock between the two sides. In the last edition of the T20 World Cup, India for the first time in the history of ICC tournaments came up against some severe Pakistani opposition.
Australia may have lost the series in India, but they’ll be coming into the World Cup with a vengeance. Their recent form isn’t the best, but they have a strong batting lineup. However, their bowling attack could be trouble in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah. Mohammad Shami has replaced Bumrah, but Bhuvneshwar’s average bowling in death overs could pose problems for the tempo attack.
India is set to face Pakistan on October 23rd in the ICC T20 World Cup. India will also play against the Runner Up of Group A on October 27th, South Africa on October 30th, Bangladesh on November 2nd, and the winner of Group B on November 6th.
